St. Thomas Preschool
Established in 2009, STS Preschool is celebrating 13 years of learning! We offer an academically rich environment that focuses on the needs of the whole child. Our students benefit from a larger school structure by offering music, religion, physical education, the Buddy Program with 4th and 5th graders, and walking field trips around our small town.
STS Preschool has two classrooms. Our PreK-3 class is for children ages 3 to 4, and our PreK-4 class is for children ages 4 to 5. The average class size is 18-20. Both classrooms are located in the state-of-the-art Robert H. Trost Learning Center school addition built in 2019. We offer both part-time and full-day scheduling with hours from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm every weekday. The academic program runs from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The afternoon is spent eating lunch (provided), resting, working in small group activities, and enjoying both structured and free-play time. Mrs. Tiffany Dodd, our Preschool Coordinator, teaches the PreK-4 class (ages 4-5) and Mrs. Jessie Henson teaches our PreK-3 class (ages 3-4). We offer a research-based curriculum, with a focus on kindergarten readiness. Monthly newsletters are sent home to share what your child is learning and also ideas for what to work on at home. |
A day spent with you, is my favorite day!” |
